@SlyLingualProd FYI, the U.S. did not put Saddam in power, this is the most stupidiest thing i ever heard. Saddam was long in power in 1979 before Iran was invaded in 1980. Also Saddam receied most of the weapons from France and Russia than the USA. The USA only provided him with intel and dual use weapons and France sold Saddam chemical gas and most of the Mirange jets, etc and so on.

@SlyLingualProd Cold War is dirty business between the U.S. and the USSR, of course the U.S. armed many anti-communists group and dictators and so does the USSR training communist dictators and groups around the world. It's a battler between anti-communist and commnist.

@publicmario17 But the problem with this of course is that the U.S. trained his men and put him into power, even supplying him with US Weapons. Then when they no longer had use for him, they made him an enemy. They were willing to ignore the atrocities he commited as long as he benefited them. The reason he hated America is because technically the U.S Government betrayed him. But of course this is American protocol. Put a dictator into power then when you have no need for him, "Free" his people
