The yellow wristband came into existence in 2004 and soon began to change the history of LIVESTRONG and the way people talked about cancer around the world. More than 80 million wristbands have been distributed to date! Cancer survivors everywhere have worn the wristband and found strength, courage and hope from LIVESTRONG.

  • So vain. The real workers behind this movement are the doctors and scientists discovering new techniques to combat cancer. Politicians and coporate/country representatives are just used car salesmen. Donate your money and wait for a cure. Lets not spend thousands of dollars in advertisement and promotion campaigns.

  • Very Inspiring!

  • For those of you who feel the need to tear down the Toughest Cancer Survivor in the World as well as a 7 time Tour de France winner.

EPO, the drug Lance was accused of using as an illicit substance is actually Epogen, commonly used in cancer patients who suffer from anemia after chemotherapy. So, even if the allegations are true ... Lance had a legitimate reason for using EPO. Some "other Cyclists" just want to sell books. While Lance stays a Survivor!

    LIVESTRONG!

  • Great, great reminder about the heart behind the yellow wristband. Thank you.
