The Kuga Ultimatum

Rogue agent Natsuki Kuga is being hunted by the people who trained her to be an assassin. Still suffering from amnesia, she is lured out of hiding to contact a journalist named Mai Tokiha, who has been following her story. Throughout her research, Mai has gathered valuable information about Kuga and the First District, who trained her. This is rather inconvenient for government official Mashiro Kazahana, who is hoping to start a new organization under the codename "HIME", which would follow in the First District's footsteps. With intent to kill Natsuki and Mai before they expose the program's disturbing secrets, Mashiro sends agent Shizuru Fujino to lead the search effort. In order to finally learn of her true origins and find inner peace, Natsuki will have to evade, out-maneuver, and outsmart the deadliest group of highly-trained agents and assassins yet.
