Din's curse is a hack-n-slash RPG from Soldak Entertainment. I do a quick review of the game based on the free demo.

TLDR: Good game, lots of fun, give it a try!

  • Review? This is more like a let's play. It's a good one though, keep it up.

The game looks interesting, too bad the graphics aren't up to par with modern games. But since I don't give a crap about graphics if the gameplay is good, I am going to give this little indie gem a try.

  • @beelz666kaas What can I say ... I'm an LP'er at heart.

  • "This is my Level 5 character..... Ooh, I can zoom in" LOL!

  • I think Torchlight does a much better job as a modern take on this style game with the exception of multiplayer. Luckily multiplayer will be in Torchlight 2. Right now I was able to find Torchlight available for much less than Din's Curse. Thanks for the video.

  • @notthere83 No, they wouldn't have. Byt honestly, who the fuck cares? They get the job done and the game is amazing regardless.

  • @beelz666kaas I've played this game for a long time whenever I have a chance, and I honestly encourage you to try it. Gameplay is excellent, and it features many "innovative"stuff that new action RPGs are implementing as novelty. If you like the idea of excellent controls, an evolving world and dungeons that strike back at your city, you will definitely not regret it. It also features multiplayer with its own server, lan play... man I wish I hadmore than a couple hours a week to play u_u .

  • @Joeyboots80 those graphics would have been mediocre ten years ago

and not even blood... what the hell is it with all those newer hack'n'slays without blood?!

  • This game is amazingly deep for it's genre. Don't let the mediocre graphics fool you, This game will hook you if you give it a chance.

  • Most of the quests in the town you don't have to accept, just start off in the dungeons killing stuff then come back up later and they will all be ready to turn in.

  • I started playing this game few days ago and can barely stop.

It managed to make me forget about Portal 2 which is quite an achievement.
