Well it's the same deal with cars and the same idea applies which is "money doesn't buy skill/brains". Morons will be morons. People buy things they can't handle all the time. I think the staged license would be better than what we have though.
-
@dahveed284 They will let anybody buy, Just about anything to, They just can't ride them, As Intended. They also have a lot of so called " noobs" as well, Just watch there videos. Just wish the US had the same choice's of bikes as they do. People are the same for the most all over the world, When it comes to acting like a nut. Just my 2 cent's

@zaph0dbeeblebr0x Maybe ? How many people do you know that has bought new Haybusa , Or bike like that ? For the most part younger riders can't afford the cost of the bike's, Or insurance. If they do buy a bike as you say, It's an older model. Why would you wan't more laws, Insurance cost alone keep most from buying those types of bikes. Any tickets makes that go up big time. Yes there are bikers that ride stupid, There everywhere in the World, No matter the bike HP, Or type. Being FREE is best.

@Salaminguana You might prefer it, but that doesn't mean it will work. Christianity is the biggest scam of all time, not unlike the other religious views of the planet. The Chinese do what they have to to survive as a nation. Population growth if left un checked is exponential, therefore bad. We'll see who's right in 10-20 years, take care.

@SorrellsAV Malthus wouldn't say it better :) I prefer a Christian approach, a more unChinese one :) TaKe care.

@Salaminguana The only way at this point in the progression of the species to create an advanced, sustainable, and stable society is the recess of current population. Motorcycle bHP laws should be the least of our petty worries as an infant species with a drone to thinker ratio of 200/1. My favorite quote: "The truth shall set you free, but first it'll piss you off". On a last note: I don't wish to create a perpetual argument, thanks. Sincerely, Casey

@Salaminguana I would love to argue, but I'm tired of dead end conversations. If someone is stupid enough to buy a CBR1000RR for likely nothing more than to attempt to project/self impose his own manhood, then well, the death of this individual in the scheme of Humanity, progression and all is just. It's called natural selection, look into it. Humanity doesn't have much selection pressure left to force evolution, where as things that do need not be governed heavily.
-
@SorrellsAV well, I don't wanna start an issue w/ you, but, as a human beeing and a motorcyclist, the tought of death riding a bike as way of population control sounds 'nazi'. Earth has plenty natural ressources, as long as we don't waste them. Las Vegas spends more energy than Portugal or Greece, p ex.. But that's room for everybody. Cheers.

@Salaminguana I never said death and loss was good in nature, but of course it depends on your view of the picture and understanding of perception. Sadly we're over 7Billion world population increasing at 70-100Million per year. Also we're running out of fossil fuels, and other finite resources at an alarming rate along with global warming. So at the rate we're going it's going to be out of hand before your kids are retired. People think about their family, not world pop/future.
-
@SorrellsAV Once you become a father you'll change your views. There's an agrssive market, a kid buys a big bike and gets killed or severely injured, how can that be 'ggod'? In Hitler's view maybe.
The 33hp limit could save a few lives here in America.
Seems like 'Busas' and 'Gixxers' are too popular for first bikes.

@motorcyclenewsdotcom This is a pretty good idea. Here in the US, we just let anyone buy anything. A lot of noobs get waaaay too much bike for them and learn the hard way.
