This is actually the first prototype for the plane DANDDAH (stick). I wanted to give a new meaning to 'Homemade'. This really is a television antenna and i just strapped wings, a V-tail and the electronics to it.

The proportions are all wrong and the flight indicated that it is extremely tail heavy. It was a long time ago when i was new to RC so i didn't know what i was doing.

The mistakes i made here led to the success of DANDDAH (click more video from this user)

  • nice lookin plane...what was the weight??? u gyz in pak?

  • @9TailedTechFox I have absolutely no idea how much it weighed, my thoughts we that aluminum is a very lightweight metal and would make for good material to build a plane with. At this scale (RC size compared to real size) it is not a good material for building. Balsa and wood are much better materials. Also, this was the first and last flight of this experimental plane. And yes, this is in Pak.

  • how do you make it and what do you mean by tv antenna is the fusselage a antenna???

  • @valveone1

Yes, that is correct. The fuselage is an outdoor aluminum antenna meant to catch a VHF radio signal. Aluminum is a rigid and lightweight metal, great for aircraft. Part of the mount to hold the antenna was perfect to fit my brushless motor.

  • great plane nearly as good as my tv antenna rubish plane :) hehe

  • @michaelrc1

Yeah, ur my kinda guy. Well, at least your antenna was successful.

  • Nece naming "Television Antenna plane" hahaha (^ - ^)/

  • your centre of gravity needs to come forward a bit.

  • that plane is focking ugly :P

  • @Buzzligh8 After trying to fly my antenna plane for another while I realized antennas are best used for tv reception. Your plane just looked tail heavy. I now use balsa wood instead which is cheap and robust
