Sly said the character of rocky was based on Rocky Marciano 1. the name of the character Rocky Balboa 2. In one of the scenes of rocky a picture of Rocky Marciano was on the wall of "Rocky" not a picture of Chuck Wepner hhmmm...

this was all an act Wepner said in an interview that Ali wanted Chuck to call him a nigger and Chuck wouldnt do it...Sure Chuck was an alcholic and a women chaser but racist ??? we will never know I dont personally know Wepner does anyone else?..lol

......people tel me it wer a delayed reaction-what delayed reaction!? when sonny liston hit you, there wernt no delayed reaction, if he put his self into it, u was goin down. no, i believe whole heartedly that chuck slipped. but then there was buster mathis. he knocked chuck down too. the trouble is, i cant see it no where! u can see hilights a the fight right here on youtube, but they skip over the round that chuck aledgedly gets knocked down in, so there you go..

oh and one more thing abot my boy chuck, he say he never been down, well....there seems ta have been a certain sonny liston fight back in the good ol days a 64 i believe, where wepner sure did go down on the floor! but u know, i seen that footage, and it can be argued, that chuck SLIPPED. there was a left hook ta the ribs i think, an then bout a whole second goes by and chuck throws one a his great missing round house punches (God bless 'im!) and then he went down.....
