Do Jehovah's witnesses lie about John 1-1

Jehovah's witnesses will often show you that there are many New Testaments that translate John 1:1 in other ways. Ex.: "The Word was a god", "The Word was divine", "The Word was the same as God", etc.

By this, Jehovah's witnesses are letting you believe that these New Testaments teach that Jesus is not God. Is this true?

This video is an examination of some of these versions and what they really teach. But once Jehovah's witnesses see that these same New Testaments do teach that Jesus is God, will they give up on showing only John 1:1 to unsuspecting people, deceiving them? Sadly, the answer is no. You see, Jehovah's witnesses will put the Watchtower organization's word before the Bible and whatever the Watchtower teach, Jehovah's witnesses teach.

@relefordnation YHVH is ONE OF THE qualitative NAMES (NOT a given name) of the God, of the ONE GOD: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. YHVH is the name for all three persons of the God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

@blitzxer017 This is position, not level... You are either God or you are not God. You can't be "A God". The Father is in a supiriour position to the Son, this does not preclude the trinity. BTW... the Son willing submits to the Father. Willing submitting means that he has the ablity to do otherwise.

Even in their KIT(that's in their library) is translated "The Word was God" NWT is a distortion because that verse and hundreds of others teach their doctrines. That poses a big problem to many JW's!
