What program do you use to transfer image?

I used AE5.5, although the explosion footage was on a black background, so there's lots of programs that can transfer something like that. You could even do it frame by frame with GIMP if you had to.

I bought a CD-ROM of pyrotecnics footage from a group called "Detonation Films" (Just Google them).
