a guideline to playing the song...

Apologies about not being able to hear me speak very loudly, the microphone either picks up the guitar or me speaking, but not both....

Tuning:

Capo 4th Fret to match the key of the CD

E - 1 step down D
B
G
D
A - 1 step down G
E - 1 step down D

D ---0-------0--------------------------0----0------------------------------------0-----------
B ---3-------3-----2/3\2p0-----------0----0------------------------------------0------------
G ---2-------2--------2/4\2p0--------0----0------------------------------------0-----------
D ---0-(5)--0-----------2/4\2p0-----4----7--------------0h2h4-------------7-----------
G ---4-------0--------------------------4----7------0h2h4--------0h2p0-----7-----------

The (5) is for the alternative first chord that is played on the second pattern of the first verse.

  • well you already know im a fan of you, so im not one to question what you play or any guitarist better than me really. but i do believe the tuning is the opposite so to speak.

    E- makes this D

    A- make this G

    D

    G

    B

    E- make this d

I play this song all the time and i tuned it your way, dropping the highest strings a full step and it just didnt sound right

  • @TheMG1MG2 Yeah... we're both correct, just depends on which way you're used to reading tabs.. All of the tabs on ultimate-guitar have the strings going the way i've written them out and that's just the way i'm used to writing tabs for songs (which is with the little 'e' string at the top of the tab), whereas you've written it the opposite way, but hey, whichever floats your boat!

  • I think it was good :) I've got little hands and little fingers for my age so the power chords are a little hard, but I've almost got it now! ^-^

  • @mapeterz oh my bad dude! lol sorry about that. either way, another very helpful video!
