The storm has arrived at PhoneDog, and it's packing thunder! Aaron reviews the HTC ThunderBolt, Verizon's first 4G LTE phone and a device that closely resembles the HTC Inspire. It offers a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch display, 8-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing picture snapper, Android 2.2 with HTC Sense 2.0, and a kickstand for good measure. It retails for $249.99 with a two-year agreement, or a jaw-dropping $599.99 without a contract.

It's a feature-rich device with a lot to offer (plus, it's Verizon's first 4G phone), but it has its downfalls. The battery life is quite bad, and there seem to be issues with maintaining a 4G signal. Is it the best device on Verizon? We'll find out. Part 1 of 2.

@rcdude7590 - right now, Sense 3.5 is available on the Rezound and Rhyme, and Sense 4.0 will be available on the HTC One XL, the HTC One S, and the HTC One V. Those three phones should be released in April.
