Here is the background,

Shaolin was performing or sth in Korea, and the korean asked them to fight as a request. Shaolin had no other means but to accept.

And then the abbot of Shaolin told the fighter (Deqing Wang) to obey the Taekwondo rules, not to attack with hands and not to hurt the opponent. Also asked him to try to performance for audiences.

That's why the monk didn't attack too much. Don't u think the monk didnt try his best?

i did some research on this video. this monk is 32nd generation of shaolin. his birth name is wang deqing(王德庆） and he got a given name shi xinghong(释行鸿）by shaolin. he study kongfu in shaolin since he was 9 years old and leave shaolin when he was 25.

in 1999, he went to Hungary to teach kongfu.

now he is the teacher of police force in Hungary and he is asked to write a test book about martial arts for the police force of Hungary
