I just bought the Libre eBook Reader PRO from Aluratek; this is the video I took as I unboxed it for the first time.

  • what is your opinion on it sofar, im buying one at ncix tommrow its on sale for $ 137! is that a good deal?

  • @nhojproductions: So far, I've been happy with it. It's pretty basic as far as eReaders go, so there's not too much to get excited about. The screen is clear and crisp, and I prefer it to the Sony eReader's screen. Battery life is great, and it usually does a decent job at reflowing PDF's. It's been reliable so far, and fits easily in my jacket pocket. If you can get it for $137, I think that would be an excellent deal.

  • Even the computer screen its old school like this e reader

  • I don't know why people think it's impressive that someone can buy a DS card to put in it. You can do that with most of these things. Also, there doesn't seem to be much hard drive storage.

What is impressive is that this is one of the few e-readers that come with a wall plug. It's also good that it tells you how long the thing actually lasts in hours instead of assuming everyone reads for five minutes a day. This one lasts longer than the new kindle, which lasts 15 hours compared to 24.

  • Paid $85 from BJ's, screen is very dark and there is no way to lighten it.

    Sending it back.

  • @nhojproductions It was on sale at NCIX for $79 today... man, prices are falling fast.

  • @evildwarf
