An impromptu gathering of musicians, Torridon I'm told, on the Ullapool-Stornoway ferry heading for the Hebridean Celtic Festival in July 2006. Even on a flat calm sea the boat was rockin'. www.hebceltfest.com/
great fun, but hardly a CEILIDH. Where was the dancing? ( or the singing or the story-telling if you want to be picky) A great SESSION (and a fine way to pass a ferry trip), just not a Ceilidh
of course its a ceilidh......ceilidh is the gaelic for "gathering". and thats quite a gathering, bonus it has proper good music

The passengers who joined in to listen to this impromptu session certainly got "fare" value for money on this occasion!.
Very enjoyable. Thanks for posting.
