  • Wow, such a great idea and I will surely give it a try. Could you use a liquid or sticky tape type of glue? Thanks for sharing. Aloha

  • @gingernailgirl I think you could use glue if you spread it real thin and even, although it may not dry real well. The problem with tape is that you need to cover the paper completely with no bumps or gaps in the tape.

    I hope this helps

  • OMG! This is great! I will give this a try for my Halloween mini. TFS!

  • Thank you! Thank you! I haven't tried the foil tags just because of this! Not to mention the price. Now I can make them on the cheap! The foil tape was a pain to do because it has to be lined up so perfectly! Thanks so much for the inspiration!---leslie

  • What an awesome idea. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • Very cool idea!! I just went in and gave it a go, came out fantastic! I also used it to punch out photo corners with my martha stewart punch, (embossed it first so it's not plain). I slipped it on the corners of my book and they fit perfect, I can use them for book corners or photo corners, awesome! Thank you so much! :))

  • @NurseTara04 I got them from Uline.ca I think you have a Uline in US, but my husband has a company account. Not sure if you can purchase without one. Should check it out though. Hope that helps.

  • @craftgrany Where did you purchase your metal tags from? I have been searching for them and only come up with belinda akers who sells them for $1 a piece.

  • Thank you Kelly!!! Love this technique.

  • Fabulous! I purchased some metal tags but soooooo expensive! $62/100. This is a much cheaper way and easy peasy! Thanks for the tutorial!
