I live just a few miles away. I have been there more times than I can count. That is the house.

I have also seen the house through high powered binoculars from various sights along the parkway. This is probably where the poster was. It could also have been seen from the top of Mt Pisgah. I take my binoculars up there at least twice a week if I can. It's really quite lovely.

Why does everyone think this is the Inn. The Inn doesn't have the teahouse at the end. This is the house....I've been there many times and stayed at the Inn. This is the house, NOT the hotel.

This is not the actual house, it's the Biltmoore Inn.

I live in Asheville and have a pass to the Estate and go weekly to bicycle. The structure in the video is the hotel. Look at the other videos of the house and the level area around it, the esplanade (lawn) in front. The topography is all wrong to be the house and its much smaller than the house. Arguments aside, if you haven't seen the estate, make a special trip...its amazing!

@m3trooper yes it is an awesome place.i work about 1 mile from entrance to the estate....lived here all my life and we simply wouldnt have it any other way

Just visited there recently.That house and estate property was insane! The kind of money that the Vanderbilts had back in the early 1900's is unparrelled!

@jasondr66 those hotels ruined a local racetrack through corruption. I have trouble sleeping at night sometimes in the summer because there are no racing at the speedway to lullabye me to sleep. local cultural heritage robbed because some out of towners might have to put up with local flavor.

@wackykatpics wrong you cannot see the hotel from anywhere execpt from brevard road. I live right across the river from there and know the head of security.
