As I already stated, it's called desensitization. One of the many reasons the messages and symbology is in plain sight, is to condition us to be familiar with it. Also when people take a serious look into them and into the hidden message and want to claim there is something to it, people would normally dismiss it and dismiss you, stating they "wouldn't put it out there so obviously". It's a mind game. This alone can not brainwash no, but the media can, and films/music can, etc.
