This a documents remarkable courage of Nawang, a 13 year old.Buddhist Nun and Bagdro 20 year old Buddhist monk who lead freedom demonstrations against the Chinese occupation of Tibet. Following a brutal military crackdown, they're arrested and endure horrific torture until a global movement spearheaded by Amnesty International and International Campaign for Tibet culminates in their release. Through the power of a positive mind and inspired by the Dalai Lama, Bagdro and Nawang forgive their former torturers as they find a way beyond fear.

  • Do not misquote people tasselchen. The speaker did not say 1 million killed in 1959. Never has it been claimed by anyone that 1 million were killed in 1959. This documentary claims that since the illegal invasion 1 million were murdered.

Is you wish to make a sensable comment then do so but try not to make false claims.

  • Tibetans were poor but happy before the communist invasion of independent Tibet in 1949.

In 2009 Tibetans are not happy.

  • @HumanRightsVideosT But this number was reported by Dalai Lama himself.

  • @HumanRightsVideosT lol i won't even bother going to that site, anyone can tell from the title with term tibetjustice, the history presented on that site is fabricated / biased. Look into more credible sources. Tibet was under administrative rule of the mongols, fact. But they allowed did allow a certain degree of autonomy.

Do you know that relations Between The Dalai Lamas of Tibet and the Manchu Qing Dynasty do NOT show that Tibet was Part Of China ??

  • @HumanRightsVideosT Your argument is invalid, since Tibet is part of China (FACT). Don't make empty claim without evidence. Tibet is Chinese internal affairs. You can voice your opinion all you want, but you can't change history nor the current facts, your effects in the end is futile.

  • @ walle1999

You are talking about the distant past.

    .

If China was invaded would you expect Chinese to sit back and do NOTHING ???

  • @ walle1999

I've talked to all 4 Tibetans in my city in person and 2 others who live further away on the phone.

If you don't like western media I strongly suggest you watch this video

    @ watch?v=4gBm4IHhKTs

from AlJazeeraEnglish which talks about issues in modern Tibet

  • @HumanRightsVideosT I personally have not, but have you? The western media in general conduct interviews solely based on those of exiled tibetan living in India whom are were the exploitive aristocrats that was ousted by the communist government. They are funded by the CIA and Indian RAW to promote anti-chinese interests. History and facts don't lie, but the western propaganda machine does. Experience it for yourself and stop making empty claims.
