windshield wiper solution

So I was 4 states away from home and my windshield wiper was all jacked up. I took it off, but broke it in the process. The wiper arm was fine, but the rubber squeegee part wasn't. And then it started to rain. Well, any time I tried running the wipers, the windshield on the passenger side would get all scratched up, so I came up with this solution. I drove through 4 states with this sock on my windshield. It didn't help my gas mileage and I got a lot of funny looks, but it kept my windshield from getting scratched up any worse, so whatever.

You also realize a sock would not affect the gas mileage but maybe 2% lol but still this is funny. I saw this woman with a sponge on hers!

You realize you can buy replacement wipers at any gas station, convenience store, autozone, pep boys, walmart.............
