this competition shows why the wonderful sport of table tennis is not so atractive on TV or even live. This jumping and turning around and taking of a long time before the next ball is really anoing. What a pity.

Yokoyama is a really classic chopper
He did not develop any offensive skills and concepts back in Japan when he was young, that why he do not attack that often.

It's not allowed - but she did let the ball bounce on the table before hitting it... it was a good off-the-bounce drop shot to draw the defender back in to the table.

No, THE Wang Nan is a lefty and a bit older (and better)... The Wang Nan in this video is an excellent young player from the Beijing team who's currently visiting the US as a training partner for Chinese-American Wang Chen
