  • I saw a documentary about the GN.

They interviewed one of the ingeneers. He said it was the first time they used all the brainpower, to get as much NM out the engine as possible in a streetcar.

I think most of the 80's cars are ugly, but I would love one of these. :-)

  • thanks guys.. this car ran all day long at 9.50's to 9.60's in all different outside temps. this dyno was crap and the car has about 100 time slips to prove its history. we were thinking that it was making well into the high 700RWHP for a 109 stock block cast motor.

  • Guys, He mentions the recording stopped at 5000. I just checked my graph and I made basically the same HP at 5000, but topped out at 714 HP @ 5800 RPM. So I'd say he's making considerably more than 564.

  • that car runs 9:60 and made 564 ...my dads gn makes like 800 hp and it only runs 10s ...my dad needs a cage and a lil more suspension work i guess..... nice vid....

  • what turbo?

  • i agree seems way more than 564...

  • OK, yo have my attention. Sweet work!!

  • Steel main caps and a girdle.

  • That car runs 9.60's

  • how do you get that kind of boost on a gn with out picking all the pieces from off the pavment
