Comedian Eugene Mirman, Grist's Special Correspondent in Copenhagen, goes to the Bella Center, the epicenter of the U.N. Climate Conference. He unofficially represents the U.S. in this official U.N. conference center. And because he's Eugene, makes friends doing it.

  • @timsta88 "let my kids starve to death", fixed this for you

  • I want to rent a bear with him

  • fuck climate change, ill be dead before anything happens, let my kids deal with it

  • Hahaha. Tekserve bag at 1:39

  • Also, what do you think all those factory farmed animals are fed? Oh, soy beans and crap! So you have to produce soy to produce meat, rather than taking soy protein straight to humans.

  • @MyOwnGuitarHero LIES you're just saying that cause yo be done fat. haha just kidding. But I highly doubt that. What the fuck is Cranfield University anyways? Why would it increase the amount of land cultivated? They cut down forests for meat grazing land all the time and certain vegetables have more protein and less water waste per acre than meat does. If you consider the pollution aspect you could also think of pollution generated per quantity of nutritional value gained.

  • @sheerterror77 Studies suggest that being vegetarian actually does more harm to the environment than eating meat. The Cranfield University study found that switching from British-bred beef and lamb to meat substitutes imported from abroad such as tofu and Quorn would increase the amount of land cultivated, raising the risk of forests being destroyed. There's a wonderful article in The Mail Online :)

  • OH GOD HE IS UNDER MY BED!!!

  • @sheerterror77 No, it's just that the last 4 or 5 comments were yours besides one of mine.... and I actually saw something about energy the other day on T.V., makes sense why.... spending more energy then what we are actually consuming.... I still don't plan on becoming a vegan tho. It's interesting...

  • @cycoboy817 So if someone gives you a logical, factual reply, they're all of a sudden a "spammer"? I see how you try to win arguments, that's pretty cheap.
