Why dont people just hire bodyguards like barak? or just move to gated communities like me? I feel safe so should they after all you can always just call the police and they will investigate who killed you. DUH

And NO POLITICIAN seems to address the FACT that those places are already gun free zones. Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the US. Enforcing the laws on law abiding citizens isn't going to change the habits of criminals who already break the law. Such solutions are very short sighted.

Those kids shot in Chicago? Those handguns have been illegal in Chicago for 20+ years, and this shit still happens? How can that be?
Because GC is just a bandaid on a bullethole, (excuse the pun)Those kids werent shooting simply because they had guns... think about our society's problems and consider what drives ppl to violence. Thats where you start to stop crime... not by banning guns.
