  • adding to that last comment there and I know this sounds funny but when hula hooping up on stage would I have to exgerrate my moves a little bit like I do in bellydance to make up the difference in height? judging by this video, I am pretty much half your height. Perhaps not do it on a stage at all and just right where the people can see me say on a sidewalk or park?

  • @firestonemagic hmmmmm.....I say dance for yourself first and worry about the audience second. If you are having a good time, the audience will love it, no matter how big or small your moves are.

  • You never even hula hooped, AWESOME,LOL.. Some look like you're driving a car and one kind of looked like a "whipping" motion like cracking a whip.

Course some of these moves I would NOT attempt if the hoop is on fire however, Thanks for the video! Uh I did have one question- I'm 4'9 125 pounds. What size hula hoop would I go with if I wanted a sturdy hula hoop?

  • @firestonemagic Thanks for the comment. The size of hoop is all a matter of preference. Try a 37", try a 39", try a 32" , just use a bunch of different sizes, styles and weights until you find what you like best. There really is no "standard" of what people should use.

  • AH mazing. Love, love, love it man.

  • Your isolations are insane! The best I've seen!

  • *can't see my last comment. Your Advice- well you're right its not so much about the audience as long as you can laugh at yourself & just do you in performing arts. I just don't want to be mistaken for a teenager or a preteen for that matter up on stage ( or wherever I do it). Stage presence if you will, but maybe it's a good thing for the audience to be decieved. Maybe use this to my advantage or makeup possibly. Contemplates... Thankyou and Happy Spinning to you!
