Ulrich Schnauss - Clear day

this music is dangerous. i was driving listening to some Shnauss the other day and i dont remeber a thing about the drive. i was in like a trance or something. good music though. i must have been daydreaming. you can get lost in this music. i love it.

Yess i completely agree with the BoC & Ulrich comments. I think Ulrich takes its further than BoC in some respects.

If you're comparing Schnauss to BoC, BoC develops the mathematical nature of music further and in that respect, how they link Pythagorean influences in thought (Music is Math) to music, I prefer BoC.

@PObserver I agree that BoC is more mathematical, but it just gets a bit too out there for me.. Math is beautiful but it can also be cold and calculative I think they often miss a human element that takes me away from emotions I still find useful, that said I preffer Ulrich, Royksopp is good too..

@llieske Well you can't create a meaningless work really, that's the whole scope of "modern art" these days, it's more or less the "ideas" that you are communicating instead of trying to represent anything tangible. In that way, I think of BoC's tracks as offering that nihilistic view of the world, and I don't mind it that much as it gives something to reflect on.
