Hello, I'm a cardist and magician and using your cards all the time. But I have a question: since you changed the "Rider Back" to "Standard" the index of the cards changed. When I opened a fresh pack of standard Bike's The index was smaller then the riderbacks. The weird thing is though not all of the new standard decks are like that, some have exactly the same index and others are smaller. Whats up with that?

@bicyclecards Hi,
I've been using bicycle cards for quite awhile now and have some questions. In the video description, you refer to the cards as "Rider Back playing cards". Ever since the box design changed, it now says "PLAYING CARDS STANDARD" at the bottom of the box. What is the official name of these cards? Also, why have you replaced the big black and white joker with a colored joker? Thank you for answering my questions in advanced. -A Bicycle Card User

Thank you for using our cards! The cards are typically named after the card back. In this case it is the Rider Back playing cards. Historically yes we did put the card back name on the bottom of the tuck however over time some people became confused on which tuck was for standard vs jumbo pip cards so we changed to have that information placed at the bottom of the front panel of the tuck. Same cards just in an updated tuck case.
