@gooeylooey14 Not his views? Oh please, of course it is. Anyone who would sing something so terrible or put there name to this isn't innocent. If anyone disagrees with another's views, that your right. BUT, no one as the right to say "Christmas is a day closer to your death". I mean seriously, what's wrong with people to think that's ok to say?! Does Britain have no morals left at all?! Or has socialism & political correctness taken over what Mrs. Thatcher tried to prevent?

@Buffalobigboy69 this is a song written for a musical to show the feelings of miner's families involved in the 1984/85 miner's strike. It's not Elton John's views, it's for the musical Billy Elliot (in case you haven't noticed) so don't take it out on Sir Elton

Thatcher destroyed Britain, what terrible dark days, and Tory Blair followed her free market policies to disaster. And now we have Tory solutions to the problems they created- more of the same division, unemployment, homelessness, scapegoating the weakest while the rich carry on their party. Well sang Elton.
