Del Lago can be a real jerk if it wants to be. Sometimes it just pulls you into its mouth and there's not a damn thing you can do about it because the boat randomly steers like a lead bathtub on square concrete wheels. Had to restart a couple of times thanks to that.
It even happened on the "winning" try, but some random invincibility frames kept me from taking the hit. I was going to restart again since it sort of felt like cheating; but then I figured you all might get a kick out of it, so I left it in.
Oh yes; I forgot to put something in 1-2's description regarding handguns, so I'll just put it here:
A lot of people argue about which handgun is the best. The most common argument is between the Red9 vs. Blacktail, and some even prefer the plain-old Handgun. I, myself, used to go with either the Handgun or the Red9, depending on which one I just felt like playing with more.
However, some time after I recorded my older RE4 Pro run, I started thinking that the handguns really weren't that great for most of the game (even the Red9 isn't that powerful until later in the castle), and were mainly just there as filler for shooting down treasures/opening enemies up for melee/etc. Then I thought: "Why not use the TMP for that?"
So I tried using the TMP as a handgun replacement, and with pretty good results. The TMP stores twice as much per stack in your inventory and can get tons of free ammo via the capacity upgrades. It also has pretty good DPS and a huge clip if you happen to find yourself in a situation where you want to go full-auto with it.
Because the TMP takes up less of my inventory, I can carry more of that sweet shotgun and rifle ammo, which are the real stars of the show.
In the long run, I'm sure you also make a ton of extra money selling the ridiculous amount of handgun ammo this game shoves down your throat.

What do you mean "probably don't know"? Do you know how many times I've played through this game? Why the hell would you just assume that I don't know something as basic as that, especially when I'm doing a no damage run? o_0

Okay. If it's a no damage run, why do you have first aid supplies?

I collect them to sell. Gx3's sell for 3k, and G+R+Y's sell for a nice 10k.

Man, the weapon seller has it figured out. He's just so enthusiastic about his job.

Yeah, the Merchant's practically an icon. They really need to bring him back for future RE games.

Looking at a guide on GFAQs, it looks like they're saying "Un forestero!", which basically means "An outsider!"
Interesting to know. =D
