This is your entry list for the 2011 Kobalt Tools 500(k) at Phoenix Raceway, which will in a new configuration. And this is Round 9 of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

These 46 drivers will attempt to qualify for Sunday's race. NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying is on Saturday at 1:30 pm EST on SPEED.

If qualifying is cancelled: Dave Blaney, Cole Whitt (making his Sprint Cup debut), and Scott Riggs will miss the race.

Looks like no driver change for the 18, but Interstate Batteries will sponsor Kyle's car.

It is being rumored that Aric Almirola will be in the 18 for this race and Homestead. Although not confirmed, it is still going to be decided on Joe Gibbs Racing and Mars Inc. on what to do with Kyle for the final two races (M&M's will be the sponsor on Kyle's car for the final two races).

@HadesRacing Its the 2012 paint scheme, its just going to run this weekend as a preview (according to Lowe's Racing's Facebook and Jimmie Johnson's Twitter account).

- Widen the front stretch from 52 to 62 feet

- Reconfigure pit road with the installation of concrete pit stalls

- Push the dog-leg curve between Turn 2 and Turn 3 out 95 feet

- Tighten the turn radius of the dog-leg from 800 to 500 feet

- Implement variable banking to ensure the immediate use of two racing grooves, including 10-11 degree banking between Turn 1 and Turn 2; 10-11 degree banking in the apex of the dog-leg; and 8-9 degree banking in Turn 4

@DMac9296 The black one is the new Kobalt Tools scheme that runs a few races per year. The main scheme is the same except it is blue and has less Kobalt logos. It still has the racing stripe and no real designs.
