Engine 6-1 was redirected to transfer to Co. 9 (York Springs) while enroute to a shed fire in box 9-8. Just after being released from the transfer, units were dispatched to a brush fire off of County Line Rd in Co. 9's territory, and Engine 6-1 responded to assist York County Co. 65 units. Engine 6-1 is a 1981 American LaFrance ex-FDNY Engine 61, rehabbed in 1990 by PA Fire Apparatus.
