I'm hearing a lot of hum from your servos around 5:23 . Is that normal?

@ValantNovalight Yes, that's a normal sound when the servos are under high load. These are anaolg servos, digital servos make even more/worse sound (especially the 5990's).

is the intelligence for inverse kinematics running on the remote control, or is it running on the robot?

@roidroid All calculations are done by the onboard (on the robot) mcu.
