@MrAdamthebeast Tha't's true, without the beatles, there will be no u2, bono is the first to admit it, but MY FAVOURITE BAND AFTER QUEEN IS U2, and there is no band like them, with so many reinventations and critical aclaim and sales like them and with so much love from the fans as well as the artists, tell me one band that have played or recorded with mc cartney, jagger, dylan, BB king, johnny cash, springsteen, patty smith, and I keep going on and on and on

Imagine this -- its 1984, and I was in high school. Nobody cared about this band !! I saw them in D.C. and everyone I knew as like.. HUH? Hard to believe. But that was the truth. I saw them at the Capital Center - liked them early on. Couldnt get enough of them. October, Boy, were great albums... this was great too

@u2MRtheFLY winning grammys means nothing.look at how many the beatles won. granted, i've seen u2 3x and they are my 2nd favorites, but NO ONE will ever meet the beatles and what they did in a very short time period.beatles couldnt hear themselves play, their live act was best when they were in germany, their tours were pure madness, something u2 couldnt even fathom.

the 360 tour their on now they're on pace to beating the stones. oh and by the way u2 has won more grammy's than ANY band which is 22 grammy's and i gaurantee they sweep everyone at the grammy's this year

If a band stays the same they become boring. when u hear the stones u get the stones, the beatles u get the beatles NO band in the world has invented themselves as many times as u2 has and still sound like they're on top of the world.
when bands try to do something different they suck u2 can do this.
