wonderful stuff, shame the ad got banned!
-
It's funny to ban this ad because of ~that~. Not only are they not in proper child restraints, but this car is BEING "DRIVEN" BY A TWO-YEAR-OLD!!!! I don't think THAT'S legal in Australia, either. :-p
-
Nah, it was probably banned because the steering-wheel is on the wrong side...

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
C. S. Lewis

I see that you have the same asshole, do gooder, dipshit, special interest douchebags in NZ that we have in North America (That want to ban everything).

So the issue was not that a toddler was driving a car, but that he was wearing an adult seatbelt while doing it. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
-
Absolutely great matching this song to this advertisment
-
it was banned in oz because the kids r wearing adult seat belts and in a collision they would slip out of them and thru the windscreen

I am 29 and my mother still doesn't want me going down the road to see a woman. Just like this song is singing about.
This ad came from New Zealand with different music and was voted our "Best Ad of the Year" a couple of years ago.
