At Fight the New Drug we often talk about what science is saying about pornography, what experts are saying about pornography and even what some ex-addicts are saying but what about you guys? What are your peers saying about it? We wanted to know so we asked a few teens to get real with us and tell us what they really think.

If i use my imagination to masterbate im kinda bored, porn creates better consistent visuals, so its better, i dont understand how people think porn is an addiction? Its like saying movies or tv is an addiction, its just entertainment to me, there is no reason why i should watch porn unless i wanted to stop masterbating then yeah id stop watching it, porn is great! Not 1 reason that says otherwise!!

@cbboarder5 no people get addicted to porn cause they are trying to feel a void in there lives, they become addicted to the images and all the chemicals the brain produces by watching it which it would not do by masturbating without it, porn is also destructive on society, it makes younger people look at eachother as sex objects instead of real human beings, watching porn is really a degenerate thing to do, watching other people fucking then getting off on it is just down right disturbing

There is no addiction to pornography, the addiction is the masturbation... which is healthy. Porn is just used as a helper, people can go without it but if you don't lose your respect for women why wouldn't you? That is like saying stop playing Call of Duty 12 hours a day even if you are healthy and exercise, it's just one's opinion on how they want to spend their lives and brings no downside to their health and mentality.

There is no porn addiction guys. It is just human nature. I can say people are addicted to food, or people are addicted to exercise. Porn is just outlet for those who don't want to use imagination or can't find a real partner. I don't know about women, but men by nature need to shoot load some how, but there are some men who don't need to shoot load as much.
