One of the most touching tunes in the world, a Polish lullaby, Christmas carol sung by the world-famous Song and Dance Ensemble, "MAZOWSZE" ('Mazovia")/ The girls are wearing traditional folk costumes from Kocierzew, near Łowicz in Mazovia region.

  • I'm English and i just need to learn this song in a week for my partner and her family, wish me luck, Ps my polish is like that of a Polish infant..

  • @yanmasters Well, good luck, then :)

I hope you will enjoy singing this Christmas carol

  • Magnifique! J'adore les Noëls polonais!

  • @marcocito Merci beaucoup!

  • Przepiękne, tradycyjne wykonanie kolęd, a nie współczesne "ugi bugi". Dziękuję za ten filmik

  • @bratlukasz76 a tak całkiem swoją drogą... niektóre współczesne "ugi bugi" (mam na myśli współczesne, nowoczesne aranżacje tradycyjnych kolęd) też potrafi zachwycać.

Polecam najpiękniejsze wykonanie kolędy "Gdy Śliczna Panna" Mazowsza i porównanie z wersją Michała Rudasia z TGD.... Nic nie przebije "Mazowsza", ale współczesne "ugi bugi" Michała Rudasia nie przestają mnie zachwycać....

  • Hi, UK, older generation Polish parents, South Krakow area, miss home (but where is that?). This carol figures so strongly in my life! I remember singing it at church and all the resulting memories.

    God Bless Poland.

I wish. I could be there right now looking at the Tatry in the distance from the family home.

Keep safe, maintain your values avoid western trash values.

    Merry Christmas Poland!

  • wow, brings tears to my eyes, it reminds me of childhood & my grandmother singing this :)
