I agree, Michael's voice was something very especial and I still don't get used to seeing J.D Fortune as a lead singer.. I don't know, I believe these kind of singers are irreplaceable...

It was Joe Elliott of Def Leppard who discovered me in May of '83 while on tour promoting Pyromania. Mutt Lange who produced the album also had produced the Aussie band AC/DC's Highway to Hell and brought INXS to meet me in Jun of '83 when I fell in love with Hutch. I nicknamed him Max after he told me about the movie Mad Max and why he named his side project Max Q. Def Lep had been on tour with Billy Squier before I met them & used "In the dark" at the beginning of this song when I wrote it.
