Here's Christie, 3rd Feb 2009, enjoying the snow on the Brading Downs, IW, at 8am before school.... little did we know tht the school was not going to open. A good time had by all, despite the biting wind chill factor!! the most snow we've had on the island for many decades!!!!
Snowmen... snowballs... what can I say!

1987 saw 6ft drifts, 1991 saw a couple of inches, 1993 in november saw and inch or 2, 1994 january saw 3 inches, 1994 february saw 6 inches, 1996 january and february saw multiple snowfalls, 1996 december saw an inch, 1997 december saw 3-5 inches away from the coast, 2000 saw a few small snowfalls, 2002 saw a couple of inches in december, 2003, 2004, and 2005 all saw snowfalls in february and march, 2008 had a good few inches in April on the 6th :-p
