It's easy to take the piss without ever proving how great a coach/keeper you are,maybe some of you could post videos of your prowess ? Nah didn't think so....
My sons 9 and been at J4K for only 9 months and is now having trials at a pro club in his first season of playing ,so they are doing something right....

shocking hand position when set

it's the highest comfortable catching position so you can keep the ball infront of you. if you catch it at the highest point your body will start to go backwards and with young goalkeepers they will run under the ball.

Hmm, isn't his set-position all wrong?
Anyway, that's not really for dealing with crosses - just high balls like that.
Also, how do you get into the Just4Keepers Academy? If it is an academy.

Good vid for rec players and lots of praise for the GK,which is a must. Know Just4keepers very well and I wud recommend it to parents of young GKs.
