@insaneExtrapilot No. If a Civic was running a GT30R for example, you could use that turbo on another vehicle as long as the manifold had the flange needed to bolt that turbo up. And yes you need to get the car tuned. If you don't tune it, you can expect to be flirting with a blown motor.

@emgpickups1990 Yes you have to have a turbo for each car. Unless you are a wicked welder and shaper, you cant take a turbo off a civic and put it on a celica. No, you don't have to tune it....however, when you do have it tuned and dyno'd, not only will you know how much HP you actually have, but your power and throttle response and fuel economy could increase by up to 60 or 70% above what it was. Tuning a turbo'd car is always a good decision and well worth teh money

Do you have to have a special turbo for each car, or for example....could you take a turbo off a honda civic, make your own brackets and put it on a toyota celica? I know you would probably have to make a custom line for the oil, so how would this be done if possible? and do you HAVE to have it tuned? I was just curious because I have had a turbo off a wrecked eclipse offered to me, but I have a mercury cougar. Cant really find any answers on google or anything. THNX

what wastegate?
People are dumb... car started at 45 mph and the other car was moving with it. If you knew what perspective was?
Anyone negative does not know jack other than rpms, engine swaps, 838374784748 rpm's and mommy and daddy's money (or just living broke and looking cool), and driving in a straight line way to be cool BRO.
THIS CAR WAS FOR SCCA.
So, try being intelligent?
