Getting it tested. Tekin RX8 on 12volts, scratch built 120 pound car using the motor out of an electric scooter. Car is 48" long, 29" inches wide and 30" tall. Driven by ACE RC car pilot Evan Billingsley from Stormer Hobbies

  • that is one sweet ride....BUT...get rid of the HEAVY batteries and put in a 2 stroke. Its too slow

  • @DiscountTreeRemoval , yea, but you gotta remember, this is an indoor vehicle. I think they'd toss us out if we started racing a gas motor around in the building. :)

  • I've been thinking about lipo and brushless. maybe on the next one. ;)

  • Hmmm awesome chassis built. You could try getting some lipos an a setup with more volts (and maybe a brushless motor with corresponding kv so it ends up at about 20k rpm).
