  • And he´s a real prophet of his nation. Not selling himself in Mexico as Mexican and somewhere else as European like Domingo does. A national treasure for Mexico and a living legacy for the world of music! Thank you for opening the doors to all future generations of Latin singers all over the world!

  • This is marvelous!! What a singer Araiza!!!

  • DIOS MÍO, BRAVO!!!!! Después de la de Pedro Lavirgen ésta es la mejor versión que he oído. BRAVO!

  • listening to singers lilke this one makes me hate Carreras even more than i already do

  • @alexgomez2 i dont say i dislike carreras, i couldnt dislike him anyway:-) i say only i am not sure which of the two singers sang better Chenier:-)

Chenier is one of the roles (at least I think) that are the best roles of Jose. I like him especially as Alvaro or Rodolfo... .or others (wont enumerate them here)and one of them is undoubtedly Andrea Chenier. but Alvaro is a great favourite too:-))

  • @eurydike You don't have to dislike one to like the other. I love Carreras' live version was the best but Araiza's is also great.

  • such passion !

  • @alexgomez2

i like Carreras´ Chenier very much, but this one is so gooood:-))))

if i liked Carreras less i could say Araiza´s version is better...i don´t know, i am biased here:-)))

  • que belleza!!!!!!!

  • Wow! I thought Carreras' rendition in the original Three Tenor Concert was the best I had ever heard but by far Francisco Araiza's rendition of this VERY difficult aria is the BEST of the Best! Charged with emotion and great technique. Truly superb and espectacular!!!

  • MAGNIFICO!!!!!!

  • don't know about this comment. BUT, i think domingo has tried to make money any way he can. as for araiza, well, he's a bad ass. sings everything well and never dissappoints
