That Prayer of Jabez thing was so empty. An OT scripture in-passing mentions"and Jabez prayed earnestly" (or somehting like that).

Well, what Jabez DIDN'T DO was doubt God. Nowhere in scripture can we see where the mighty Jabez failed to pay his tithe. And nowhere can we find that Jabez, who we know was one of God's most favored righteous men of all time, failed to say his 100 Hail Marys every morning LOL

scottidee - doctrinal orthodoxy is what reforms souls, tells them they are sinners and in need of a savior - Jesus, and then leads them down the right path of sanctification, unlike the newage mumbo jumbo spewed from Rick Warren. The Apostle Paul seemed to think it was really important and so does the Holy Spirit.
