OK Magazine Jade Goody memorial issue

British former reality TV star and current terminal cancer patient Jade Goody is a national obsession. She will die soon. But not soon enough for OK! magazine.

OK's UK edition this week: the "Jade Goody Official Tribute Issue." "Final Words"! I guess "1981-2009" is a fair guess, but uh, patience is a virtue? Jade Goody remains annoyingly alive.

Whether alive or dead, she's fully owned by OK! The mag bought the rights to her wedding last month for an estimated 700,000 pounds, and then refused to allow her friend and biographer to attend it, because she worked for a different magazine. No word on whether Jade can sell the actual moment of her death separately, but if so, OK! is sure to snap it up for a(nother) final edition. Shame and repugnance do not exist!--gawker.com

OK magazine, and others like it, are responsible for the stupefying of the British public, they turn peoples minds into empty voids. Its all mindless crap, for sad people whose lives are so boring that they have to obsess about other nobodies. Get a life and read something that will both educate you and entertain you at the same time. By reading these money making piles of dribble, your doing little different than sniffing petrol. It is a sad but altogether aptly scurrilous testimony to the whole trashy Jade Goody phenomenon that this obituary issue, capitalising on her death, is actually published before the very end.  I had no time for the woman - she was the ultimate trash celebrity - but no-one deserves to die like that - but no-one can deny she was both a character and a devoted mother. Rest in Peace, Jade Goody.
