My buddy D and I decided to try and fly my Kodak Zi6 into the sky with a 3' helium balloon to see what we could see. I lashed it to me with some twine and went to the great lawn in Central Park. The wind was a bit strong, but as you'll see we managed to get a few shots that didn't induce vomiting. We met some Frisbee dudes that were killing it and they let us film them.
We came back the next day to do some more, only the second time around we had to use 2 balloons because the second one wasn't gassed enough and the first had lost lift over night.
It was really fun, everyone wanted to see what we were up to. Thanks to John at Balloon Bouquets (NYC 212-265-5252) for helping us get set up.
