Plenty of accidents and crashes in this video as I compare a real Thomas Tank Engine to a very clever copy. Both items cost around $20, but one is a complete train set, the other a single toy engine.

Both engines are set various challenges to see which one has the right stuff.

Be very careful what you purchase online and in some shopping regions, these copy toys can look very convincing and the low prices on them attract easy sales.

As good as this is, you should have used an older thomas, the thomas that this faker was copying. The thoms you used was relatively new. I have seen the older thomas of Tomy (Not the large ones, the ones right before Trackmaster) and the face and black engine were identical, except for the 'stuck' effect of the copy.

You did a good review, but with the wrong real thomas. I suggest re-doing these with a older Tomy Thomas, that would compete fairly with it's copy.

@Armystuntman i always try to do comparisons with whats available on the market today, right now the fake thomas is based on the looks of the older tomy and the new thomas is the trackmaster CGI face

anyone could buy both these models right now and really thats what is key to this video

My nephew is in love with "choo-choo" (Thomas) he jus turned two and can already speak so well. Buh most of the time he's only saying "gordon" "James" "Emily" "Percy" "diesel ten" "choo choo track" "bridge" and "hat" .. We watched this video together and while I found it informative, he found it very fun.! Esp when the Thomas' were battling head-to-head. He said they were dancing.

I took the stickers off the fake Thomas and added them to my real one. I kept the lantern on the back and put it over the fake thomas sticker... It looks way better now
