I love alanis, been listening to her since high school (grad 1996)!!! I didn't know she was an american now :-O well of course, the most awesome people are americans ;-) she's so beautiful :) and I loved her singing of the star spangled banner :)

She is MORE American because she choose to become one. Americans by birth did not choose to be American citizens.

I totally agree with you. We're all non-American if you get down to it.

You know what DOES make us American however? Judging a nine time Grammy winning artist and saying she sucks based on individual taste.
