1986, Me, Mellow-T and St. Mark 9:23 (DJ Prince) were originally a DJ crew called 3 The Hard Way.
Years later after RAPSQUAD (an MC crew) ended, I became a solo rapper.
In 1990, St. Mark, Hymnal and Sunshine (who created the name) started Dark Leaf. About 6 months later I joined the crew and became a member of U.N.I (United Nations of Intelligence) with UNITY, Volume and others. Soon after DL split and we became BROTHERS MANIFESTO. DL adopted new members and continued on.

Man, watching this shows how rich underground L.A. hip-hop culture was outside of gangsta rap. I really dig that early 90's style of flow, real dope!
