What I should have said is this is a story about "love". probably makes more sense now.

I don't think is is a story about love - its a story about infatuation. In the beginning of the movie, the narrator says "this is not a love story", and he's right, because true love is mutual, which in this case it wasn't. I want to meet someone who appreciates me, and yes, I get pessimistic sometimes. But I know that not all girls are like this, and I hope one day I can have a great relationship that will be fulfilling and won't fall apart

@breeeegs then its pretty obvious you're bitter. this is a story about love, and all the shit that happens within it. the girl came off like a bitch, but love is a bitch. if anything it should give you a sense of calm to know that maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day, you'll run into someone that actually appreciates you. i believe this was a main theme in the movie, which was reiterated with "coincidence" instead of "fate"

@NocturneKing But u have to understand it was hard on her, too. I think she WANTED to be in love with Tom, but just couldn't feel it with him. She did love him though, just not in that way. It's messed up but pretty much all of us will have to be a pit stop on someone else's journey to finding true love at some point, and u might not realize it but someone will be one on yours, too.
