  • Hey there gr0ver135, I live in middle europe and run almost 20 tanks through this saw... Well it's a little beast... ;)

    Greetz from middle europe.

  • What diameter wood do you cut with it?

    We cut mostly

Pinus Radiata over here, which is very soft.

There is a firewood type here called Tee Tree, or manuka, which is incredibly hard, though.

  • Why not post a video of your wife using it. You can link it to this page as a video response. I'm trying to get more women to buy them.

  • Good one. What country are you in, middleEarth56?

  • They are $1099 in New Zealand dollars, including sales Tax

  • @gr0ver135 I cut oak, ponderosa pine, jeffery pine, douglas fir, redwood, and bay with this saw. I have over 200 hours on it and it is still prime. It's my main tool for my new project, a log cabin built primarily with douglas fir. I have a log debarking attachment called a Log Wizard that attaches to the bar and is kind of like a planer. It's an amazing little saw.

  • *tank, sorry

  • Well i cut mostly pine, beech, oak and spruce, diameter between 20 and 60 cm

    (8-25 inches)...

Lucky you... I wish we had the Pinus Radiata here in europe, it grows pretty fast but there is the problem with the strong winter's in europe... :( But we got lots of Pine... :-) A sharp chain, a tnak of aspen some chain oil and the job is quickly done... ;-)

  • Tassie Mate, part of Australia. I have just run through 6 tanks of fuel with this saw and am very happy with it. Even my wife has no probs starting and using it.

  • Great saw. I bought one of these a few weeks ago. I can highly recommend it. Get it with the 18 inch bar though - the jubilee special only comes with the 15 inch bar with the jubilee writing fitted as standard.
