FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adlestein takes a look at the outcome for U.S. television stations which switched to digital signals on Feb. 12. Guest host is Amy Schatz, of Wall Street Journal. Program from Feb. 21, 2009.
Obama’s “FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn Free Internet a Civil Right for Every Nappy-Headed Child” watch?v=JWETGCggzcE She also voted for Net Neutrality, which could ultimately censor the internet impeding our first amendment rights of Freedom of Speech. watch?v=lGplqSh8fYU
.
Her dad is James Clyburn, former house majority WHIP. She’s probably aware our unfunded liabilities are $113 Trillion per us debt clock. (Also Obama wants a “kill switch” for the entire internet!)
Its great to see Mr. Adelstein on. My concern, the FCC has not changed given the times. Not enough is done to allow local communities a chance to participate on the airways.
Example, media Moguls such as we see in New York who own tV and newspapers in one market. On the other hand we have radio stations owned by one owner- preventing access for many.
Oversight is lacking everywhere, what I was taught in college as a journalist about ownership has become a joke. Money rules here too?
The format of the show is good but can't they get on another subject?Communication is not about TV we all know it TV is archaic.Even the TV company understand it(all decent TV are now computer screen) why waste so much money on a technology who is vow to disappear in the next decade anyway.
